Fun Talk*

Have you ever been bored with a conversation that was going on? And on? Have you ever wished you could change a conversation to something more positive and interesting?

Now you can enjoy things to talk about that were specifically designed for just this purpose.

On the next two pages you will find the topics that were used in two very popular games designed for various single parent social organizations.

These topics were carefully designed to be interesting (otherwise, who would play), easy to talk about (otherwise, who would play), and above all, fun (otherwise, who… you get the idea.)

CONVERSATION CARNIVAL is a game that creates the atmosphere of a carnival. There are booths and rides like the Shooting Gallery, the Fun House and Ferris Wheel, and many more. Who would believe that you could bring back the feeling of the Midway, and the memories and feelings of going through the Fun House or the Tunnel of Love? Well, we did.

Details of the Conversation Carnival—and the topics we used can be found by clicking on the Carnival link below. When you see the details you would agree that it would be impossible to put the whole game here on the internet. Nevertheless, the questions are yours to use to spark up any conversation.

HOLIDAY CHEER - How many US holidays are there? We found 28. What is special about holidays? They each represent something that is important in our lives.

Holidays mean more than just a day off. They honor brave people, remind us of our ideals, promote good feelings and strengthen the togetherness we have as human beings. These are really enjoyable things to talk about. (After you have finished talking about the weather of course.)

Details of Holiday Cheer—and the topics we used can be found by clicking the Cheer link below. Some of the instructions are shown so you can get an idea of how it was played. Nevertheless, all of the Holiday topics are there for your use to spark up any conversation.
