The American philosopher, L. Ron Hubbard, deserves considerable credit for his many ideas which have been utilized in the People Games. Despite the fact that he has been thoroughly misquoted by some, often misunderstood and vilified, his philosophy is simple, useful, and rewarding, and when studied and used properly it has been tremendously worthwhile for many people. Many of the prime factors of the People Games were influenced by the philosophy of L. Ron Hubbard, as examples below show:

The above-mentioned, "ARC Triangle", relates that understanding involves affinity, reality, and communication and that there is a co-existing relationship between these things such that increasing or bettering any one of them will bring about a resulting increase or betterment in the others. The above-mentioned Scientology procedure, "Rising Scale Processing", is used for the purpose of bringing a person up in tone, i.e. helping him or her to be more outgoing, aware, happy, and successful. You can learn more about any of these principles at the Church of Scientology. (QB)

The source of the People Games per se is Joseph Belotte, who has expended over 1200 hours of effort applying the basic philosophy of L. Ron Hubbard toward the needs of single parents, including over 200 evenings of running People Games and experimental People Games with a total participation of over 1400 people.

It should be noted that although I have used many of the ideas that I learned from Ron Hubbard there is nothing in my People Games that is a copy of anything written or spoken by Mr. Hubbard or of any procedure originated by Mr. Hubbard or used by the Church of Scientology. Any thorough comparison will demonstrate that.
