THE CHAIN OF EVENTS

85% of your current feelings are out of date, i.e. they are hold-over feelings from past events. You can reduce unwanted feeling by 85% by separating or differentiating the past occurrences.

The human mind is a marvelous mechanism. It associates and differentiates. It identifies and recognizes similarities and differences and establishes relationships there-between. In fact, in the mind, most everything you have ever experienced, certainly everything you remember and are capable of remembering, is interlinked and connected with associative information.

The time your dog was hit by a car may be interlinked in your mind with the times your dog licked your face and chased a ball that you threw. The time a classmate stole your lunch in school may be interlinked with the times you loaned him your book or helped him with his homework.

Constant associations are being made by your mind every minute of the day, and most of those associations linger for the rest of your life.

Nothing in your life actually stands alone. Everything is linked in your mind with other things.

"One" is unique, "two" is a coincidence, but "three" times is repetitive. After the third time emotions continue to pile up.

To release someone from an emotional event and renew his good feelings it is necessary to untangle and release the chain that ties the event to the past.

This can be done in a therapeutic way by a therapist. It also can be done as a First-Aid method by one's-self or a caregiver.

On this site you can discover several simple procedures that can be done by a caregiver, an associate, friend, family member, or yourself to release the effects of events long gone and re-empower one in the present.
