I am so glad that I am dying of cancer.
I am so hugely glad that I am dying of cancer. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not glad that I'm dying. But since I am dying, and since everybody has to die one way or another, I am hugely glad that I am dying with cancer.
My experience with Cancer has opened my eyes to myself, to other people, and life itself. I have learned so much in the past year that I never would have been able to learn had I not been dying with cancer. It has been a great gift.
I had expected to die of old age, To gradually deteriorate and quietly pass away. What good is that?!!
Because of the cancer I am becoming more than the man I always wanted to be. I am learning more than I ever knew existed. I have discovered truth... and “the whole truth.” I have learned to live in the minute. I have discovered personal integrity and my self-esteem has blossomed.
You can't get that dying of old age.
