THE MATCHING INTERVIEW

Now compare your answers with your current or newfound acquaintance.

Start at the beginning of your Personality Compatibility Profile on page 2 and compare your answers to the questions.

But, don't just check to see if you have the same answers. To do it properly, there is more to it than that.

Similar answers are not necessarily a sign of compatibility. Opposite answers are not necessarily a sign of incompatibility. Similarities can sometimes cause conflict, and opposites can often be complimentary. This is why other compatibility tests often fail. The real indicator is how you feel about it.

So, compare each answer! Tell why the answer describes you and how you feel about it. Are you glad you are that way? Or, would you rather be a little different? In addition to telling how you are, also tell about your ideals and how you would like to be.

The entire matching process could take an hour or more. But, you will get to know your new acquaintance, and yourself, in a new and exciting way.

AFTERWARD

If you find this is not the the right person for you, keep your Profile and use it again another time with someone else. Attend the Singles Discussion/Par ties or Get-Togethers as often as you like, knowing that there will be plenty of new opportunities to meet other fine people.

If you do find a right person, use the Profile to get better acquainted, and then develop your relationship even further by attending the Lifetalk program on Keys To Relationships.

USING THE PERSONALITY MATCHING SYSTEM AT THE SINGLES DISCUSSION/PARTY

The Singles Discussion/Party and Get-Together always includes at least four 15 minute small group "first-impression" interviews. You will select your own partners for these small group discussions and you will get a good "first-impression" sense of potential matches.

After the small group interviews you can then select the most interesting potential matches for a Matching Interview and have a chance to compare your personality profiles.

PERSONALITY MATCHING FEATURES

1. You acquire a realistic assessment of your personality characteristics for accurate compatibility matching.

2. You personally choose your own partners for the First-Impression Interviews.

3. You actually compare your personality traits with potential matches, and you decide if they are conflicting or complimentary.

4. You keep your Personality/Compatibility Profile for your own personal use.

"FIRST-IMPRESSION INTERVIEWS"

The Singles Discussion/Party and the Get-Together include at least four first-impression interviews. These are small group discussions with four to six people. These are short, fifteen minute, semi-structured discussions.

In these discussion /interviews you will talk with a number of different people. You will get to know them quickly and begin discovering areas of mutual interest. You will begin to learn how they think and feel, and you may discover that you have more in common than you first imagined.

This is your opportunity to meet interesting people and decide whether or not you actually want to get to know them better.
