Leader’s Manual

A STATEMENT OF VALUES

I BELIEVE the most valuable thing in this world is people both as a group and individually for, after all, people are the major creators, organizers, and users of all things.

I FURTHER BELIEVE that the most valuable thing about any person is his ability to communicate for only by communication can he interact, understand, present things to others, and appreciate what others may present to him.

SOMETIMES some people seem to act badly in various ways. But in all my experience I have found that whenever a person acted badly it was not the result of evil, but an inability to communicate in some way. I have further seen that fostering and improving a person's ability to communicate inevitably improved his value, not only to himself, but to others also, and made him both a better and a happier person.

THEREFORE, whomever you may be, because you are a person, I am your friend and I appreciate most your ability to communicate.

AND WHENEVER I can be of any help in fostering or improving that ability then I am your aid and companion.
