Research has proven that most of our bad, unwanted feelings are NOT the result of our present circumstances. Instead, they are the result of past circumstances (held over). The accumulation of feelings over the years is responsible for 85% of what you are feeling now. A rapid method of handling feelings, therefore, is to separate the past feelings from the present. Surprisingly it’s not difficult.


Once you learn how to do it, it's a natural process you can always use.


POSITIVE THINKING???


The "power of positive thinking" does actually work, but it only works about 15% of the time. Why? Because feelings are usually more powerful than thoughts! Negative feelings, like anger, fear, depression, can block your most positive thoughts. It's true that your thoughts control your direction, but your feelings control your energy and motivation. If you learn to handle your feelings first, positive thoughts (and actions) can come a lot more easily.
